Our wine of week recommendation is our favorite white from the fall tastings we attended: Turnbull 2009 Sauvignon Blanc, Estate Grown, Oakville, Napa Valley. "The wine is crisp and lively, with medium body and a long lasting finish." We found this to be a most pleasant return to Sauvignon Blanc that is not over-the-top in sweetness and fruit like the popular versions of this staple have become over recent years. $216/caseFranny LaRue
